Hans Franco-Mendes

Hans Franco Mendes studied piano and composition in Cologn and performed throughout the Netherlands and Germany and in Paris. He composed mainly for piano and was director of the Leiden Music School. He survived Theresienstadt and was repatriated via Switzerland but never fully recovered from the hardships in captivity.
